Pre-Conception & Fertility Support

There's a long road some families walk before a positive test ever arrives. Whether you're just thinking about having a baby, actively planning, or in the thick of trying to conceive, you deserve someone in your corner who gets it—who understands the hope, the grief, the complexity, and the joy of this journey.

I'm here to walk that road with you.

What does this look like?

Fertility and preconception support is about meeting you wherever you are in your journey. This isn't medical care—I'm not a doctor—but I am trained to offer the kind of presence and knowledge that makes this path less lonely and more grounded.

Together, we might talk through your feelings about conception and family-building. We'll discuss your options: natural conception, intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), donor pathways, surrogacy, reciprocal IVF, or any other way your family might come to be. If you're navigating fertility appointments, we can prepare for them, talk through results, and process what comes next. If you're grieving—because infertility grief is real and deserves space—I'll hold that with you.

I work with all families, including queer couples, trans individuals, single parents by choice, and anyone whose path to parenthood is non-traditional. Your family matters. Your journey matters. You deserve support that honors both.

This offering is for you if you're:

  • Single or partnered and thinking about building your family through conception

  • Exploring fertility options and want an informed, affirming guide

  • Using assisted reproductive technologies (IUI, IVF, or other ART)

  • Navigating donor pathways, surrogacy, or reciprocal IVF

  • Experiencing infertility or trying to conceive for an extended time

  • Grieving miscarriage, loss, or the family you haven't yet built

  • Queer, trans, gender-nonconforming, or a family that doesn't fit the traditional mold

  • Just wanting a knowledgeable, affirming presence through your journey

When to Reach Out

The best time to connect is when you're just beginning to think about having a family. You don't need to be actively trying or have a fertility diagnosis. If you're wondering, wandering, researching, or planning—that's the time. We can start before conception, which means we have time to dream together, explore your options, and build your confidence for whatever comes next.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • A fertility doula offers emotional support, education, and advocacy as you navigate conception and preconception planning. I help you understand your options, prepare for appointments, process results, and grieve when needed. I'm not a medical provider, but I have training in reproductive physiology, fertility options, and the emotional landscape of trying to conceive. I'm your person for the non-medical parts of this journey.

  • Yes, absolutely. I was trained specifically to support queer, trans, gender-nonconforming, and all families. If your path to parenthood looks different from the mainstream, I get it. You deserve support that honors your family structure, your identity, and your choices.

  • No. I'm not a doctor, nurse, or mental health provider. What I offer is education, emotional support, and advocacy. If you need medical care, mental health treatment, or specialist referrals, I can help you find those providers and support you through those experiences—but I'm not providing the medical care itself.

  • As early as you'd like! If you're thinking about having a baby, that's the time. You can connect before you start trying, while you're in the thick of it, or even if you've been trying for a while and want support now. There's no "right" time—just whenever you need someone in your corner.

  • Pricing details are coming soon as I finalize my training. I'm committed to making this service accessible, including sliding scale options for those who need them. Reach out if you have questions about affordability.
